• Doug Meye | Lead Pastor

    When he was in his late teens, Doug was overwhelmed by God’s love. He explains, “In response to what God had done for me, I knew I needed to help others experience God’s grace in Christ."  Doug and his wife Pat moved to Las Vegas in 1986 to begin Warm Springs Baptist Church. Doug served as the pastor of Warm Springs until 2006. Recently, Doug has been serving on the staff of Transformation Ministries as the Mission Strategy Director. In this role, he works with pastors, churches and helps plant new churches.  Pat is the founder and co-director of Renewing Life Center. Doug and Pat have two grown children, David and Kristin. Doug enjoys exercise, outdoor sports, working around the yard. He is a great hack on the golf course.

  • Jesse Mcallister | Worship Leader

    Jesse was born in Reno, and moved through Nevada, California, Minnesota, and Oregon before finally settling in Las Vegas in middle school. Getting plugged into a church that focused on the Scriptures and discipleship was the beginning of his journey in finding a personal relationship with God, a desire to learn from and follow Jesus, and led him to gain a love and interest in studying the Bible. He is currently studying online to acquire a Bachelors of Theology, and his interest in music and worship has led him to different worship leading positions for the past 9 years. 



  • Tereasa Beckham | Children's Director

    In addition to serving as a Vacation Bible School Director and AWANA Commander, Tereasa most recently served as the Preschool Director at Green Valley Baptist Church. She currently still serves on the AWANA Board of Missionaries for Nevada. Tereasa has been a follower of Jesus since the age of twelve and loves to provide students with the opportunity to experience God’s grace and love just as she did at a young age. Tereasa has been married to her husband Ken for 20 years and they have 6 wonderful children.



  • lauren johnson | early childhood director

    Lauren grew up in southern California and was home-schooled by her mother, who was also a Children's Director.  Lauren has either been in or teaching Sunday School, AWANA, and VBS her whole life. She loves impressing a love for Jesus on the next generation and helping equip moms for the task of training up their children.​ Lauren is married to her high school sweetheart, Jeremiah, who volunteers as a Band Member on the Grace Arts & Media Team.  Lauren and Jeremiah have four children:  Chevelle, Atticus, Caedmon, and Roman.  Lauren also has fun with any craft especially woodworking and enjoys feeding people carbs that she lovingly bakes them. 



  • Dave Miller | Missions Strategist

    Dave started his mission journey over 20 years ago leading a team of high and junior high age students serving in Baja California. What was supposed to be a one-week mission trip to Mexico has become a way of life for Dave.  In 1992 after leaving his position as a church youth pastor, Dave co-founded Adventures in Life Ministry as a para-church ministry helping US churches partner with ministries in Mexico for long-term impact. In the years since, thousands of people from churches across the US and Canada have served through AIL Ministry a​cross Mexico, Dave's adopted country.  A writer and frequent conference speaker, Dave's heart beats with passion for Jesus and His mission, whether that is around the corner or on the other side of the globe.


  • Marie Herrick | Office Administrator

    Marie grew up in the Chicagoland area.  She attended Bethel University in St. Paul, MN where she got her Bachelors in Youth Ministry, and Biblical and Theological Studies.  She moved to Henderson in July of 2012 with her loving husband, Cody, and two beautiful daughters, Lila and Anna. She is a firm believer in relational ministry: Jesus is shown to others by how we live and relate to one another. Therefore, she enjoys good conversation, usually accompanied by a coffee.



  • MAyson Algeyer | Senior HIGH DIRECTOR

    Mayson was born and raised in the Las Vegas valley. During his senior year of high school, he came to know God and accept Christ into his heart while attending a local church with some friends. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Photography from the University of Nevada, Reno; after which, he began working in public safety and emergency services. His desire is to serve our youth by sharing with them the love Christ poured out on all those who believe in Him, allowing them to experience the fullness of God’s love and grace.



  • MARyAnne Stargel | Junior high Director

    MaryAnne grew up in eastern Washington and northern Idaho. During high school, she was blessed to be part of a very active church youth group which opened her heart to the joy that comes from Christian fellowship. She earned her bachelor's degree in education from Lewis-Clark State College after which she accepted a teaching job in the Las Vegas valley. She has been teaching junior high for 15 years and volunteering with student ministries since 2005. Her heart for student ministry began back in high school and she feels blessed to be working with the youth at Grace. Her desire is to share the joy of Christian fellowship with the youth, allowing them to grow closer to God through adventures and times spent in the Word.
