With the partnership and support of multiple churches and Transformation Ministries, Lead Pastor Doug Meye and a committed launch team began the journey to plant a church in the Green Valley area of Henderson with the vision of becoming a place where disciples would multiply disciples. The church first opened its doors in Doug's home in 2012, followed quickly by a move to a room at South Hills Church, and then on to Vanderburg Elementary School.
Over the next two years at Vanderburg, Grace's vision to help people follow Jesus, grow in community, and live on mission saw progress. The community celebrated baptisms, saw increased growth in Community Groups, and sent mission teams to Mexico, Papua New Guinea, and Thailand. With Grace continuing to reach people locally and globally, the need for a better location and more functional space for ministry became clear. So in the summer of 2015, Grace moved to Bob Miller Middle School.
Since Grace's launch, a growing number of people have become involved and invested in the church's mission to follow Jesus, grow in community, and live on mission. But Grace's story is still being written. With relevant teaching, inspiring worship, and the dedication of many volunteers, Grace continues to hold out love and hope to people in Henderson and beyond.
Come be part of the story. Your journey awaits.
